The Pendulum (Part 2)

So what does that really mean?  It means the responsibility to regain that trust lies on the one who broke the trust.  That individual must go to the extreme left and make what seems like amazingly ridiculous strides to rebuild trust.  Again, the extremeness of the left swing will be in direct proportion to the height of the bob when it was dropped from the right side.  It’s a law of physics.  And the extremeness of how far out of the way the offender has to go to prove themselves is in direct proportion to how far the offense has gone.

The cool thing is the friction!  When introducing our God and the Holy Spirit (friction), the swing of the pendulum will slow and come closer to equilibrium quicker.  Again, the strength of that friction will be in direct proportion to the amount to time spent WITH the Lord and praying in the Spirit.  These laws must work – we can’t refute the laws of gravity and physics.  If we test those laws, we will be seriously injured or die.  It’s the very same thing with God’s Kingdom laws.  If we test those laws, we will be seriously injured or die.

Because we’ve been born into a world of sin where Adam and Eve rebelled against God (Genesis 3), every  person was born into the earth cursed system (first heard this from Gary Keesee when talking about the laws of finance.)  Check out Deuteronomy 27 – we are cursed for not following every law! (Deuteronomy 27:26 ‘Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law by observing them.’)

The great news is Jesus – Jesus came to fulfill the curse of the law and through Him and the Holy Spirit, the laws of our Heavenly kingdom are available to us.  Galatians 3:10-14  The Law Brings a Curse

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”[a] 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”[b] 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.”[c] 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”[d]), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

So, what does that mean for the people  involved with the swinging pendulum?  The law is still in effect – you can’t change a law.  The factor that can be changed, however, is the amount of “friction” thrown into the equation.  Like I said earlier, that friction is the Holy Spirit and the more time spent with the Holy Spirit is in direct proportion to the speed in which that pendulum slows.

This stuff blows my mind.  The more I learn, the more time I spend in prayer with the Holy Spirit, the more I see His incredible love for us and how God wants SO bad to show His people the truths of the Kingdom.  Unfortunately, the enemy has us so busy we don’t even know what’s out there.  I keep seeing pictures from the Matrix in my head – the people wondering around in life completely oblivious to what’s going on in the Matrix.  Well, it’s true most people are unaware of what’s going on in the spirit world.

I don’t claim to know it all, but through revelation in the Spirit, there is a great war raging against our souls.  Satan is coming to the end of his rule on earth and he’s fighting to win as many souls as he can through making sin seem normal and making those who are trying to show Truth as intolerant and judgmental.  And this is coming from within the “church” – the enemy is gaining ground within the very walls that should be sanctioned as unattainable!
It’s time to stir up the winds of the Holy Spirit and take back our ground.  I will NOT be anything but a soldier in the army of God.  I’ve declared my path and I will never return to ways of the enemy.  Will I make mistakes?  Undoubtedly.  I’m human.  Will I have consequences to those mistakes?  Most assuredly.  When a child is learning to walk, if they stumble or fall, the parent doesn’t beat them up for falling, but that child might have a bruise here or there from the falling.  The parent isn’t at fault for the bruise and the parent doesn’t chastise the child for falling – they encourage that child to get up and try again.

It’s the same with God – He doesn’t chastise us for falling, He encourages us to get up and keep trying.  He isn’t responsible for the bruises we get when we fall – that’s part of the process (and a whole other subject to write about).

So, how quickly do you want to slow down that pendulum swing?  It’s all up to you – dive in to the Word and pray in the Spirit – I, for one, want the winds of Friction bringing the swing of that pendulum to equilibrium as soon as possible!!
